Tour Itinerary #1

DAY 01 : COLOMBO / AIRPORT / PINNAWALA / DAMBULLA
(Visit Dambulla cave Temple)
Meet at the airport and transfer to Sigiriya or Dambulla.

Transfer to Dambulla and visit cave temple. "Dambulla The Golden Rock Temple"
Dinner and overnight stay in Sigiriya or Dambulla

DAY 02 : SIGIRIYA / MATALE / KANDY
(Climb the Sigiriya Rick Fortress / Batik Factory / Herbal and Spice Garden / Cultural show)
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel.
Climb the Sigiriya Rock fortress.

Sigiriya, the spectacular 'Lion rock' fortress, stands majestically overlooking the luscious
Green jungle surroundings, and is one of Sri Lanka's major attractions.

Arrive in Kandy.
Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings, which is a World Heritage Site. The name "Kandy" conjures visions of splendor and magnificence. Many of the legends, traditions and folklore are still lovingly kept alive.

Late afternoon witness a cultural pageant highlighting various up country-dance forms, including a fire walking display.

DAY 03 : KANDY / PINNAWALA / COLOMBO
(Visit Kandy / Tea Plantation and Tea Factory / Colombo city Tour)
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel.
 

Kandy city tour - Drive around the Kandy Lake built by the last Sinhala king, Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1798. Visit the Kandy town and Bazaar, the arts & crafts centre, a gem museum and a lapidary.

Visit a Tea plantation and a tea Factory

Proceed to Colombo and on the way visit Pinnawala Elephant orphanage,
Here you get a chance to get real close to a large herd of elephants, and then follow them down to the river where you can spend many hours watching them bathe and play…..

Arrive in Colombo and enjoy the city tour in Colombo.
Walk alone the Galle Face Green, Visit Pettah bazaar - where one can shop for bargain, a Hindu and a Buddhist temple, residential areas where you find the stately homes of the affluent. And visit ODEL (Shopping mall)

DAY 04 : DEPARTURE
After breakfast according to the flight schedule proceed to airport for departure (you can select your BEACH HOTEL Destination, Goa - India, Maldives or Sri Lanka south Beach.

Proceed to Polonnaruwa, ("Polonnaruwa - The Medieval capital of Sri Lanka")

Enjoy a sight seeing tour in Polonnaruwa.
The second most ancient of Sri Lanka's kingdoms, Polonnaruwa was first declared the capital city by King Vijayabahu I, who defeated the Chola invaders in 1070 CE to reunite the country once more under a local leader. While Vijayabahu's victory and shifting of Kingdoms to the more strategic Polonnaruwa is considered significant, the real Polonnaruwa Hero of the history books is actually his grandson, Parakramabahu I.

DAY 03 : DAMBULLA / MATALE / KANDY

(Tea Factory visit / sight seeing in Nuwara Eliya)

Enjoy a city tour in Kandy,
Visit Royal Botanical Garden, Kandy Temple of the Tooth relic etc.

Proceed to Nuwara Eliya.
On the way visit a tea plantation and a tea factory, where the best tea in the world is produced. Here you could observe all about the process of manufacturing tea. You can also see how tea is graded. Taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea in the factory.

Arrive in Nuwara Eliya. Situated at an altitude of 2040m this town with its characteristic British architecture and climate is very popular with locals who want to escape the heat of Colombo, so no surprise this town is known as “little England”.
Return to Kandy.
