Route Highlights: Delhi – Musoorie – Uttarkashi – Silla – Kushkalyani (3,820m) – Kyarki – Parital – Sahasratal – Tadi Uddyar – Kharsali - Khatling Cave (3,650m) - Khatling Glacier (3,710m) - Kharsali - Gangi – Ghuttu (1,520m) – Rishikesh – Delhi
The trek starts in Silla. It climbs past Kushkalyani and Kyarki, surpassing 4,000m before reaching Sahasra Tal. From here the trail descends to the Bhilanganga valley which it follows to its source at the Khatling Glacier. The valley of Bhilanganga affords a panoramic view of snow capped peaks and hanging glaciers - the Jogin group (6,465m), Kirti Stambh (6270m), Meru, Bharte Khunta (6578m), and Thalay Sagar (6361m). The views are sublime and magnificent. The whole trek passes through thick forests and beautiful lush green meadows before descending to Gangi and Ghuttu.
