Day-10 Cochin / Palakkad.
Meals Included : Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner.
After breakfast this morning you’ll commence the drive to the temple town of Guruvayoor in Central Kerala. Visit the Punnathur Kotta, Elephant Camp. The camp is home to 50 Elephants, donated to the temple trust by devotees from all over the country. These elephants are used for temple festivals and processions, all over Kerala, particularly in the Central Part

Continue driving to Thenkurussi village. Check-into the Kandoth Tharavad, a traditional Kerala Home. Set in a rustic environment, Kandoth Tharavad is the wonderfully restored 200 year old ancestral home of Kandoth family. This is the place to experience the true village life of Kerala. The house itself is an example of domestic architecture made primarily of Mud & Teak. Mr. Bagwaldas, the present head of family will be your host. Towards evening you can enjoy walk into the village. Dinner & Overnight.

Day-11 Palakkad / Tellicherry (Thalassery)
Meals Included : Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner.
After breakfast this morning, you’ll commence your drive towards Cheruturuthy a small town located on the banks of a river. Visit of the Kalamandalam, academy of performing arts of Kerala. The founder of the Academy and the famous poet Vallathol Narayana Menon, was responsible in many ways in protecting all these art forms. The academy organizes a day with the masters, a tour of the campus, conducted by students of the academy. After lunch in Cheruturuthy, you’ll continue your drive on the Malabar Coast to Tellicherry in North Kerala.

En route to Tellicherry, you will cross Mahe, which was one of the French Colonies. In the Malabar Coast region, Mahe is the place where English established their first permanent factory in 1683.

Arrive Tellicherry and Check-Into at the Ayisha Manzil which is your haven for the next two days.

Ayisha Manzil- Heritage Home is a 138 year old luxuriously furnished bungalow. Located on a hillock overlooking the Arabian Sea. The sit-out at the entrance of the house gives excellent views of the Arabian Sea and one can spend the whole day just gazing at the sea. The British Style architecture reflects the colonial life style of the past. It has a unique swimming pool resembling the old temple pools. This house was built in 1862 by an English man and later bought by a Muslim Trader Mr. T.M.Moosa. It used to house European Judges for 5 years from 1900 to 1905 and was known as the European Judges Bungalow. The present owner Mr. C.P. Moosa warmly welcomes visitors to enjoy their family hospitality at this Heritage Home. His wife Faiza is a culinary expert, specializing in the Mopillah Cuisine of North Kerala.

Day-12 Tellicherry.
Meals Included : Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner.
Your day will be filled with activities around Tellicherry with visits a coffee curing center, an old English Fort, a Spice and Fish Market and the family mosque of the Moosa's (a tiled roof structure covered with copper), the largest cinnamon garden, a manufacturing unit of the local brand of cigars called “Beedis”.

Tellicherry is also the seat of Kalaripayattu, Martial arts of Kerala, the forerunner to Karate & Kung fu. Visit to Muthappan Temple at Parassinikkadavu to see the ritual art of Theyyam performed all the year round. Men don colorful exotic dresses, paint themselves as God Goddess & devils, wear colorful masks & headgear and dance to the beats of drums. Return to Telicherry and Overnight.

Day-13 Tellicherry / Mysore.
Meals Included: Breakfast and Lunch.
After breakfast, you’ll commence your 4 hour journey to Mysore, via Wayanad. Lunch at Hill View a private home overlooking the tallest peak in Wayanad. On arrival in Mysore Check-Into the METROPOLE. The Metropole was constructed by the Mysore Maharaja as a guest house for British Officers. Its now been restored into a Heritage Hotel. Overnight in Mysore.

Day-14 Mysore.
Meals Included: Breakfast.
Mysore was the political capital of the Wodeyar family which ruled the state of Karnataka for some 150 years till independence from British rule. These kings were great patrons of art and culture and Mysore was the cultural capital of the south under the rule of the Wodeyars.

Early this morning you’ll visit the Devaraja Fruit and Vegetable market for its colorful displays of fresh flowers and fruits. After breakfast you will visit the Mysore City Palace, designed by an English Architect and completed in 1912. A part of the Palace is still occupied by the former Maharaja from the Wodeyar Family. There is a collection of stained glass, mirrors and some beautiful carved wooden doors. Overnight in Mysore.

Day-15 Mysore / Bangalore Airport.
Meals Included: Breakfast.
After breakfast this morning, you’ll drive to Bangalore Airport for your flight to the next destination. You’ll stop en route to visit the summer Palace of Tipu Sultan.
