Delhi, Agra and Jaipur are
India’s major cities located in three different states,
namely the Delhi, which also happens to the capital of
India, Agra (a city of Uttar Pradesh) and Jaipur (the
state capital of Rajasthan). All three of them have rich
past as kingdoms.
The Golden Triangle tour is one of the most popular
tours of North India, ideal especially for first time
visitors to India. As all our tours, we can customize
your Golden Triangle itinerary to suit your special
interests in any specific area of the wide range of
historical sites and monuments. While we can design your
itinerary strictly following the Delhi, Agra and Jaipur
Golden Triangle tour circuit, we can also add to it a
number of wonderful side trips to make your experience
of India more complete, for example
Varanasi, Khajuraho, Gwalior.
Most tours will begin with
Delhi, and will include sites in the Old Delhi
as well as New Delhi. The sites include Jama Masjid, the
colossal mosque, the majestic Red Fort, the Humayun
Tomb, the tower of Qutab Minar, the Jantar Mantar
Parliament House, and the India Gate.
Second stop is Agra, the home of the legendary monument
built to love, the Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage
Site and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. After
the Taj we take you to the impressive Red Fort and then
continue on our way to Jaipur. En route we stop to
admire the ancient palaces and temples of Fatehpur Sikri
and depending on your available time to travel we can
add
tour to Ranthambore National Park.
Jaipur, also called the Pink City, abounds in stunning
forts and palaces of the maharajas. The City Palace,
Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, Birla Mandir, and Amber Fort
are must-see monuments in Jaipur.
While from Jaipur the Golden Triangle routes heads back
to Delhi, rest of Rajasthan will likely lure you to see
more of this spectacular state. We can recommend more of
a complete tour of northern India, or even have you
combine the Golden Triangle tour with trip to Varanasi
and
a retreat spa in the Himalayas.
